How Apna Budget Manager uses Google Drive

Google Drive backup is optional. When you connect your Google account in Settings → Google Drive backup, the app:

Creates one folder in your Drive named Apna Budget Manager Backup.
Saves two files there: an encrypted backup (apna_budget_backup.enc) and a CSV of your transactions (apna_budget_transactions.csv).
Reads that backup file back only when you choose Restore.

The app uses the drive.file permission, so it can only see files it created itself. It cannot read, change or delete any other file in your Drive. Your backup goes directly from your phone to your Drive; it is never sent to our servers. You can disconnect at any time with Sign out in the app, or remove access from your Google Account permissions.

Apna Budget Manager's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your privacy

Your budgets, transactions, goals and notes are stored on your device. We do not sell your data. Read the full Privacy Policy to see exactly what is shared, with whom, and why.
